Importance Of Self-care And Self Love .

 

                    * The art of prioritizing you! 

Love, is the purest of all the emotions. It is one of the most overwhelming emotions we feel.  Has anyone ever wondered that why ended getting hurt or sometimes end up getting taken for granted.  It is a good thing that people find their happiness in others.

 Self-love and Self-care is not an act of selfishness.  Loving yourself is not selfish. You are just prioritizing yourself. This is the time when you will start thinking about “JUST YOU”.  Now, you will think how you can explore your inner self. 

Loving yourself is a process. So the is the self-care.  Both acts have their own purposes but intersect at one common motive that is ‘HEALING. Healing means Cure from any wound let it be physiological or psychological. 

Self-care is important to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself, sometimes called self-love. It produces positive feelings, which improves confidence and self-esteem too. 

Being a human, the first love affair you have is with your own self! Loving your-self, treating your-self as a kid, exploring everything with curiosity. 

Loving   your-self, is also an art of saying no to the things you are not comfortable with. You start setting certain boundaries for your own good and thus maintaining your own dignity. 

Listening to good music, setting goals for each day, meditating, exercising, maintaining a journal, speaking good about your-self , letting go, cutting of toxic people and so on.  Going for therapy also is a process of healing.
