Divine parenthood is the source of human parenthood. Paying respect to parents means  we are paying reverence to God.

Respect For Parents Day is celebrated on 1 August of every year. This day recognises the selfless contribution of our parents in our life. Besides, this is the perfect day to teach our children about the respect for parents. Celebrating this day is an effort to make our families united and strengthened.

 If our children are using sharp tones while talking to us , that's because we must have demonstrated this behaviour. We must look at our behaviour. Are we respectable to our parents? Are we spending time with our parents? 

Let us solemn promises invoking a divine witness on the Respect For Parents Day : 

1. We shall create positive thoughts about our parents

2 As communication strengthens the relations so we shall talk to them constantly

3.We shall express our gratitude to them

4. We shall appreciate their kind acts which they have done for us 

5. We shall watch our language by avoiding foul words

6.We shall give them priority

7.We shall not sound like bossing them around.

8.We shall not bring up past issues, if any 

9.We shall listen to their advice. It's our moral duty to respect their opinions and principles

10.We shall spend special occasions with them

11. We shall always feel proud of them 

Now I will sum up saying these words:

WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE PARENTS.
