Gupta & Co., had a meeting with Secretary Labour Mr Manvesh S Sidhu* and Labour Commissioner Mr. TPS Phulka and discussed the matters for relaxing the provisions on Building Plans approval; treating the trade license and/or Land Use Certificate as approval from the local authority; issuing overtime exemption notification for all industries allowing 115 hours of Overtime work per quarter for all sectors; relaxing the minimum number of women workers required in a night shift; making a provision of applying Factory license for industry setup under Right to Business Act. The meeting ended on a positive note & the Hon’ble Secretary agreed on all the matters and assured to relaxation of the provisions. The notifications will be issued by the department shortly.
