August 6, Ludhiana : 24th Udae Bhanu Hans Kavita Puraskar function was held in Ranbir Auditorium of Guru Jambeshwar University, Hisar (Haryana) dedicated to the 94th birthday of Haryana's Rajya Kavi and famous Rubai writer Udae Bhanu Hans.Poetess Jaspreet Kaur Falak chosen from Punjab was honoured with Udae Bhanu Hans Kavita Puraskar in this function which had a very august gathering. She was given a shawl,a coconut, memento,a certificate and a cash of 4000 rupees.This function was organized jointly by Haryana Sahitya Academy Panchkula, Department of Hindi,Guru Jambeshwar University and Sahitya Kala Sangam,Hisar.Dr.Puran Mall Gaur,Director Haryana Sahitya Academy was chief guest of the function while Vice Chancellor of Guru Jambeshwar University Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar presided it.Sahitya Kala Sangam president and a reknowned journalist Kamlesh Bhartiya and Shashi Bhanu Hans(son of Udae Bhanu Hans)'s  tireless efforts materialised this function and all the credit goes to both of them.PK Sandhir(Patron) speaking on this occasion said that this honour has increased Falak's responsibility for Hindi literature.
