What is truth? A very difficult question. The question of right and wrong has been battled for centuries. Some believe that truth is absolute, while others disagree saying that truth is a relative term. However, truth is something that everyone believes to be correct. It greatly depends on what's true in the minds of the people. On the contrary, truth spoken with bad intent is considered to be worse than a lie. We can conclude that truth is an expression that corresponds to reality. 

Nevertheless, I consider truth to be absolute. In my opinion, it is never right to do wrong. Truth is the purity that differentiates between right and wrong. Truth always stands on its own. In other words, absolute truth is absolute true, no matter what evidence is there for it. Truth does not change. 

Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourselves from lots of troubles.

Truthfulness is very important and essential for human beings. It is the greatest virtue. Character of a man is a build-up from the truthfulness. People having not the character of integrity are not loved by anybody. To speak the truth is a moral duty and we must never deviate from it. Truth is the greatest attribute of God. The whole universe is built on truth. True and honest people are rewarded by the Almighty God. 

People having the habit of speaking the truth always get respect, regards and trust from the other people everywhere. Such people have the strength of mind. They are not afraid of anybody. Such people have high self esteem and are more confident than a liar person. 

As a truthful man has a clear conscience and he does not fear anybody, so his mind is free from the anxiety that constantly troubles a liar. Even his enemies respect him and this respect carries more importance than any precious jewel. Liar people may gain success for a short time but they can't shine forever. Moreover a liar person can't lead a peaceful life. They are always afraid of being found out. Internally they know that they are not doing a good job by telling a lie. 

We all know the story of the shepherd boy who used to tell a lie. As a result he met his death for it. 

Truth is higher than everything. Truth is the bond of the society. Without it the society will cease to exist. It would dissolve into anarchy and chaos. 

A truthful man is modest.  He makes no parade of himself and his deeds. Selflessness, humility and truthfulness are the three marks of an honourable man. 

At the same time you must remember , if the objective of telling the truth is to hurt or to harm someone , then it will be compared to a terrible lie. For that reason, while speaking the truth , we should keep in mind that it doesn't hurt someone else's feelings.
