Ludhiana lad selected for training at prestigious MRF Pace Foundation Chennai.
6’6” tall pace bowler Adhiraj Singh Mangat to undergo training as a “full time trainee” in MRF Pace Foundation

In a great achievement, 16-year-old Ludhiana cricketer Adhiraj Singh Mangat has been selected as a “full time trainee” in the prestigious MRF Pace Foundation, Chennai.
A resident of Country Homes near South City, here, Adhiraj Singh Mangat is the son of noted veterinary doctor Ajaypal Singh Mangat and educationist Kitty Mangat.
Adhiraj is a student of class tenth at Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.
Dr Ajaypal Singh Mangat informed that Adhiraj plays in U-16 category and is a pace bowler. He informed that Adhiraj’s coaching camp would commence on March 11, 2024 at Chennai (Tamil Nadu). He said that the MRF Pace Foundation is the best training facility for upcoming pace bowlers and several trainees of MRF Pace Foundation such as Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Zaheer Khan and Irfan Pathan have represented the country. Till date, 17 trainees from the MRF Pace Foundation have played for India.
He said that it is a matter of great pride that Adhiraj would coach under Glenn McGrath, who is the Director of Coaching at this foundation.
