Mahesh Bhatt, an Indian film director, producer and screen- writer has turned 71 today. He was born on September 20, 1948. Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain (1974) was his directorial debut film. He went on to become one of the recognized directors of Bollywood in 80s and 90s. His directorial venture Saaransh (1984) was screened at the 14th Moscow International Film Festival. Sadak ( 1991) remains the highest grossing movie either directed or produced under his banner Vishesh Films. Since 1974, he has directed 46 films besides producing a number of films. Now a days he is busy with his directorial venture, Sadak 2 which is expected to get released in 2020.
