Ludhiana, February 25 : Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO & Incharge Halka Atam Nagar welcomed Biba Harsimrat Kaur Badal Union Minister of Food Processing Industries along with Shri Rameshwar Teli Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries; who mark their presence for inaugurating the two food processing units Godrej Tyson Foods Limited & Iscon Balaji Foods Private Limited in Gurkirpa Mega Food Park, Ladhowal, Ludhiana. These two food parks will benefit people of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Moga, Amritsar & Fatehgarh Sahib. Two units would process 7200 Metric Ton of potatoes per annum, 5700 Metric Ton of frozen & ready to eat food products per annum.

 

S. Gurmeet Singh Kular thanked Biba Harsimrat Kaur Badal for New Food Park in Ludhiana, and said these two units will generate huge employment opportunities in Ludhiana as well as the nearby villages. At the same time, it will be beneficial for the Punjab’s Farmers also, as their yield will be sold at good prices. Processed food will also be supplied to other states as well as countries, and this will directly improve the revenue of the state of Punjab.
