IS CORONAVIRUS INCREASING THE PROBABILITY ANXIETY DISORDERS?.

 

 

Coronavirus, which is now considered to a be a dangerous virus which was originated from Wuhan, the epicenter of China, has increased day by day in the whole world. It has taken lots of lives and had a major out-break in all the countries. It is now being taken as a serious problem and all countries government are taking major steps to control this virus from spreading.

Everyone taking this virus as a physiological problem but no one understands that it may major causes of psychological considerations as well. In day to day life we take minor things seriously and we think that we had a major life threating issue with those things. Undoubtedly, corona virus is deadly to the public and their health. But there is nothing to worry about this.

Now let’s see how this is connected with psychological issues. Everyone have a fear of things that can harm their life and health but those are in just their thoughts and not present in reality, this is called anxiety. Anxiety is what that shows physiological symptoms such as high pulse rate, sweating, shaking of legs and hands, confusions, fear of having life threating diseases like corona virus or cancer so on.

Relation of Anxiety and Corona-virus

We often tend to rely on different news channels to know what’s happening world-wide. Every channel is reporting various updates on corona virus and telling us how to prevent this virus from spreading. Telling us from not to visit public places and maintain social distance from people who don’t maintain hygiene makes us more anxious and disturbs our day to day life. Watching live update and being aware of the happenings can sometimes lead a person to be anxious.

A person who is already anxious and keeps looking forward to recent updates of this virus will tend to fall more anxious as all the new channels tell them to at home and tell them to separate themselves even if they have common cold. People shouldn’t believe the rumors as there is a thin line between rumor and reality. The only thing we can do is to maintain proper hygiene and stay aware which means not to be scared.
