Maintainting Mental Health During Lockdown / Saumya Chawla.
As we all know that since a long time we all are facing a threat from a virus which is called as Coronavirus (also known as Covid-19). We, as humans know the gravity of the situaiton worldwide. We, as per the current laws,are advised to stay as home respecting the government’s appeal and maintaining the safety of our ownself and others.
Maintainting Mental Health during this crisis lockdown is now a big challenge a we feel that we are so lonely and there is no settled routine. People feel excessively lazy and they tend to have issues like anxeity,fear abd even depression. Mostly people tend to think about the situation and do overthinking .
Most of the time,women who are used to the the maids are facing more problems . They face difficulty as they are not used to the work this much physically.Family members don’t tend to cooperate much and women are mentally and physically fatigued.
Working women face more difficulty the flow of income is low and work hard to earn the bread i.e the poor women. They feel so frusrated that they take out there anger on their kids and husband. They often get victim of the domestic voilence globally that they are unable to take the physical, mental and emotional torture. There are so many calls on the helpline number that the government is unable to manage both the situations altogether.
People,epsecially,women,easily are able to produce negaitve emotions and face mood swings which they arent able to maange them. Their psychological pattern of thinking is very down and cant think of anything but help.
Yoga (mental and physical), calling a family member or a friend, or exploring her own intrests and hobbies will help her to regain her own identity. It help her to be creative and stable in terms of channelling her emotions in a positive way.
