Laughter, a medicine that proves to be a cure for every kind of worry or pain.
It is a reaction to a stimulus externally, or it can be even internally ( by thinking of a funny incident ), which is the rhythmic flexing of the diaphragm that is perceptible to others. Laughter can be the rise of activities such as tickling, or entertaining thoughts.
"As soap is to the body, so laughter is to the soul. "— A Jewish Proverb.
The saying explains how laughter is essential for the individual's soul. Laughing increases the blood flow in the brain and allows the self to cope with various stressful situations of life.
On January 10, 1998, the origin of World Laughter Day, begun, in Mumbai, India. This noble initiative was taken by Dr. Madan Kataria, who is known as the founder of the Worldwide Laughter Yoga Movement.
"People, on this day, gather at a club, or, any public place, like, a garden. And laugh out a laugh.
"There are various health benefits of laughter such as:
It relaxes the whole body and makes you calm and composed.
It stabilizes the hormones in the body and boosts our immune system.
It triggers endorphins, which is a natural feel-good chemical.
It protects our heart, and, improves the flow of blood.
Laughter is a natural exercise, promoting good health.
There are many other benefits to laughter. Charlie Chaplin was the first silent comedian who said laughter is the best medicine.
People with a good sense of humor are blessed people.
Because of their jolly nature, they attract people towards them, as they accept situations with an open heart and don't stress about it.
Let's celebrate World Laughter Day today by spreading positivity and happiness all around.
